RUMM2030 was released on 1 January 2010.

RUMM2030 is a major rewrite of the RUMM program and contains a number of
new strategies and routines for improving the quality of item analyses well
beyond the facilities currently offered, both in RUMM2020 and other programs
offering Rasch analysis. In
addition, a number of maintenance activities have been undertaken since the
release of RUMM2020 in 2003 to improve the quality of the presentation and the
estimation algorithms.

The RUMM2030 licence package provides, free of charge, a series of
Interpreting RUMM2030 monographs containing detailed instruction material on
how to conduct item analyses using RUMM2030 together with in depth coverage of
the different fit statistics and estimation algorithms involved [at present
there are seven monographs available - only two available for the Standard
edition].

Each licence renewal will provide, on a continuing basis, all new
upgrades and maintenance adjustments added to the RUMM2030 program as at the
renewal date.

RUMM2030 is available on an annual licence basis only, and renewable
every 12 months upon payment, in advance, of an annual licence fee, currently
set at
$550**.
(this is, only $18*** per week for unrestricted use during any 12 month
period).

The annual licence fee will provide financial support towards the
continuing maintenance and future upgrade developments of the RUMM program.

The purchase of a RUMM licence does NOT provide instruction in Rasch analysis
techniques or on how to use the RUMM program for conducting an item
analysis. There are dedicated
courses and workshops available both as internet-based and as designated
presentations at locations world-wide.

If a RUMM2030 licence lapses for more than 2 months from the last expiry
date, a new RUMM2030 licence will be required at the full, new purchase fee
(currently $1900*).

The former version, RUMM2020, is no longer supported.
